Burning and Debugging Tools for all Series
Telink Burning and Debugging Tool (BDT) applies to Telink all series. During SDK development, BDT’s functionality includes “Erase flash sector”, “Download firmware”, “Activate MCU when communication failed”, “Access memory space including FLASH /CORE /ANALOG /OTP”, “Read/Write global variable” and “View USB log”.
The BDT_V5.8.0 tool requires a synchronized update of the Telink Burning Board (TLSRGSOCBK56B) firmware to version Firmware_v4.5. If you choose not to update the firmware version of the Telink Burning Board (TLSRGSOCBK56B), please use the BDT_V5.7.9 tool.

User can follow the guide in this section to download firmware into specific flash space of the target board via “EVK” mode.
Step 1: Connect target board with “Burning EVK” via Swire
Step 2: Download FW into “FLASH” via “EVK” mode

Select chip type of the target board, e.g. 8258 (default option)

Select download mode as “EVK”
- Click the “Setting” button to select the offset of flash starting address default at 0
- Select the target firmware file to be downloaded into the target board
- Download the selected file into the target board
